Six-a-Side Tournament set for June 8 and 9

The Cricket Hall of Fame’s annual Six-a-Side tournament
is set for the weekend of June 8-9, 2002. The popular New England
cricket festival will be held at the same venue Hartford’s
Keney Park and is expected to be just as exciting as previous
tournaments. The
organizers are hoping that this year the tournament will attract
the 16 teams which it is set up to accommodate as they are
anticipating participation from more teams from the Caribbean.
Invitations have been sent out to Bermuda and the Cayman Islands
who it has learnt has shown interest in coming to play in
Hartford.
If
plans materialize, fans attending the event will get a chance
to participate in innovative attractions that will earn them
cash prizes. More details will be revealed as we get near
to the deadline for entering.
Teams
interested in entering are urged to sent in their registration
as early as possible so that plans for the event will be put
in place well in advance of the start date. Further information
